Block Watch Meeting Changed to Thursday, June 2nd at 6:30 pm

The scheduled Trailside Point Block Watch meeting date has been changed to Thursday, June 2nd at 6:30 pm. It will be held in the library at Trailside Point Elementary School. This change was due to a scheduling conflict with our special guest Officer Centenius Billingslea. Please adjust your calendars to accommodate this change.

Our block watch is supported 100% by volunteers who work hard to observe, report, and ultimately prevent crimes within our neighborhood. However, our success is highly dependent upon the number of people that actively participate in the block watch. Please consider coming to our quarterly meetings or volunteering for our neighborhood patrols. At the very least, please get to know your neighbors and be observant of what's going on around your part of the neighborhood. Phoenix Police Department Need Our Help

The Phoenix Police Department need our help in reporting any information to the shooting that occurred at the park on the night of May 9th. If you have any information that may be helpful we encourage you to contact Detective Cisneros at 602-534-5924 or contact the Violent Crime Bureau at 602-262-6141. There were many people at the park that night who may possibly know who did this. For the victims families sake please come forward and do the right thing. Otherwise this individual will get away with this and be given the opportunity to do this to someone elses children.

Community Meeting at Trailside Point Elementary

City of Phoenix Councilman Michael Nowakowski is putting together a community meeting along with Commanders Parra and Crockett from Phoenix PD to discuss the recent wave of crime in the area, such as the May 9th shooting at the park. The meeting will take place Tuesday, May 17th at 6:30 pm in the Trailside Point Elementary School Library, 7275 W. Vineyard Road, Laveen, AZ 85339. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Trailside Point Block Watch elections are now open! From now, through May 31st, you may go online to cast your ballot for the upcoming Trailside Point Block Watch board members.

The Trailside Point Block Watch charter allows Trailside Point residents who are at least 18 years of age to vote. Each eligible voter is only allowed to submit one ballot. Multiple ballot submissions will be discarded.

The Trailside Point Block Watch charter allows Trailside Point residents who are at least 18 years of age to vote. Each eligible voter is only allowed to submit one ballot. Multiple ballot submissions will be discarded.

Two Alleged Graffit Vandals Caught!

Two alleged graffiti vandals were caught this morning at the corner of 71st Ave and Baseline Rd. Two residents of Kensington Place III witnessed the individuals acting suspiciously, and noticed the sound of the rattling ball inside the spray paint can that one of the suspects was trying to conceal. The witnesses called 911 to report the activity, and the Phoenix Police responded immediately.

As a reminder to all Trailside Point residents, be sure to call 911 to report any crimes in progress, no matter how insignificant it appears to be. And thanks go out to the vigilant residents who called 911 in this case.

Notice of Elections - Trailside Point Block Watch Board Members

From now through the month of April, the Trailside Point Block Watch will be holding new elections for key positions in the organization. The purpose of this Notice of Election is to solicit candidates for the election. This is an excellent opportunity for you to become more involved in the direction of our community and specifically its safety and security. Listed below are the positions with brief descriptions for each. All positions will be part of the Block Watch Board of Directors; which, after being elected will lead the Block Watch. The term is for one year. You must be 18 years of age and live in Trailside Point to be elected (as well as to vote).

A. Manager: Chief administrative officer of the Block Watch who, among other duties, will be responsible to schedule and run all meetings, prepare an agenda for meetings with the assistance of the Secretary, act as Block Watch liaison with the HOA and other groups and organizations in the community.

B. Secretary: Primary responsibility is to record, publish and maintain all records of Block Watch meetings.

C. Treasurer: Primary responsibility is to keep account of Block Watch funds and provide oversight in the development of any grant funds for the Block Watch.

D. Phoenix Neighborhood Patrol Rep (PNP): This unique position requires certain qualifications be met as required by the City of Phoenix Police Department (this is the only position with any specific job requirements).

E. At Large Board Members (3 seats available): Sit on the Board of Directors and participate in policy and administrative decision making.

We will go over the positions, the election process, and answer any questions at our next meeting on March 10th. If you are interested in nominating yourself for a position, please send an email and provide your name, address, telephone number, and position of interest. Nominations will remain open through April 1st. As part of announcing your candidacy you may provide a ~200 word statement about your qualifications, goals, thoughts and so forth about yourself for voters to read. The candidates will then be announced at the following Block Watch meeting on April 14th. Voting will then take place online starting April 16th through April 30th. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to send an email.

Important notes from the Nov 11th Block Watch Meeting

The official minutes from the November 11th meeting are forthcoming; however, there were a couple of items mentioned that are timely in nature...

On Saturday, November 22, the Phoenix Police Department will be hosting a special Phoenix Neighborhood Patrol (PNP) training session in Laveen. It will be held at the Cesar Chavez High School Cafeteria and will begin at 7:45 AM that morning. For questions, please contact Melissa Rider of the Phoenix PD (602-534-2126 or melissa.rider@phoenix.gov).

At the HOA meeting last week, the topic of speeding throughout the neighborhood was discussed. Our community action officer, Mario Ancich, said that we can report traffic and/or speeding complaints to Officer Terry Sills at 602-495-0964. When calling, it would be helpful to provide the typical times and locations in which the traffic violations occur.

It should also be noted that within the last month, there have been 3 home break-ins in our area in which the burglar entered the home by forcing open the rear sliding glass door (one of these occurred in Trailside Point; the other two were in neighboring communities). To help protect yourself from these crimes, we recommend installing a padlock on your rear gate and using a wooden dowel rod (cut to fit inside your sliding glass door track) to keep the door shut even with attempts to pry it open. To protect yourself against burglars breaking through the glass, you may want to consider getting security laminate film installed on your windows and glass doors, such as these from Ace Security Laminates: http://www.azace.biz/products.html.

In addition, if you don't already have one, we strongly recommend installing a security door on the front door of your home. See the link in the right column for information on our Lowe's Security Door Discount.

LAHOA 7-16-08 Meeting Notes

Notes from the Laveen Association of HOA's (LAHOA) 7-16-08 meeting

LAHOA meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. There is a $100 membership fee. At next month's meeting, member HOA's will be able to vote on issues. Each member association receives one vote.

Crime news presented by Officer Mike Curtainbach, Resouce Officer from South Mountain Precinct
Information was provided on two area shootings that occurred in the early morning of Sat. July 11The first occurred at 1:59 am at the Jack in the Box on 51st Ave and Southern. Police found 20 shell casings at the scene. Two victims were treated at area hospitals. It is believed that the involved persons were at a party on a street referred to as "Belker." The party dispersed and they went to the Jack in the Box, where the gunshots were exchanged. Neither wounded individual is willing to press charges or provide any information to the police.The second shooting was at 49th Ave and Glass. Approximately 40 rounds were fired at a home and at least one return shot was fired from the home. Four different weapons were used to fire on the home (2 handguns, a hunting rifle, and an AR-15 type weapon). It is therefore believed that 4 suspects were involved in firing at the home. The house had 10 occupants at the time. None was hurt. One of the home occupants is affiliated with a gang. In this situation as well, no person of interest is willing to press charges or provide information to the police.Officer Curtainbach stated that the police have identified 23 people affiliated with gangs who are associated with these incidents. Officer Curtainbach also stated that the precinct is dedicating two 2-man units to stay in Laveen to address the needs of this community

Aug 5 at Caesar Chavez Library from 6-8 PM. All in attendance will receive 5 chips to vote on their preferences for park development. including the community center and security lighting. There is a city park scheduled to be built in Rogers Ranch. Other possible locations for parks are 67th Ave and Lower Buckeye, and 55th Ave between South Mountain and Dobbins Rd.From Wendy Emsinger Boganvilla communityThere is a proposed re-zoning of the Bouganvilla golf course driving range, converting it to a commercial zone. The proposal is for a gas station, a fast food restaurant, a sit down restaurant, and 9 office condos. GAIN event and other information - Stephanie Scovell Highland Ranch
Last year, the GAIN (Get Arizonans Involved in Neighborhoods) Event was held at our Trailside Point Park. This year, a different venue is proposed. The plan is to incorporate the GAIN event into the Laveen Fun Festival, which will be held in November. LAHOA would like to set up a booth to be staffed by representatives from the various neighborhoods. LAHOA will also be hosting an ice cream social in Oct. Ice cream has been donated by Shamrock Farms. The event will serve as a community building event. The Phoenix police and fire departments will be included.LAHOA would like to collect contact information and establish a communication network that would include all the Principals, PTA, and PTSA in Laveen. The purpose would be to share information and pass along successful ideas to other schools. They would also like to see effective communication between the Laveen Schools and all PNP/Blockwatches.

1) This Saturday (May 17th), there will be a Phoenix Neighborhood Patrol training session for anyone that is interested in becoming PNP certified. It is scheduled to go from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #2 (12851 N 19th Ave). See the following link for more information.

Some interesting facts about Crystal Meth:

In 2003, 42% of females and 38% of men booked into Maricopa County jail tested positive for methamphetamine.
Roughly 65% of Arizona state child abuse and neglect cases involved meth use.

Graffiti Legislation

Dear Block Watch member and any other citizen of Arizona concerned about the growing graffiti epidemic,

This year the state legislature developed three bills that would help curb graffiti in our state, here is a brief summary of each:

HB2819 - makes it illegal to posses any graffiti implement (aerosol cans, indelible markers, etc) without express permission of the property owner
HB2701 - Limits the display of potential graffiti tools in retail stores to one of the three options; in line of sight of cashier, behind locked doors, or an area that has electronic surveillance. (Currently some cities have laws like this, but it is not a statewide law)
HB2740 - If a juvenile is guilty for a second offense of graffiti, then the court will order the juvenile's parent or guardian to assist the juvenile in the performance of the community restitution.

These all sound like good sensible bills, right? Well, HB2819 and HB2701 didn’t go very far and now they are dead bills. There is a way for the legislature to bring them back though, but the deadline to do so is next week, so time is limited! We need a critical mass to demonstrate to our elected state officials that we support HB2740 and that we want HB2819 and HB2701 to be brought back.

If you want these bills to become law you need to e-mail, call, and or visit each of the pertinent state legislators listed below and tell them to;

a. “support HB2740”; this is an excellent way to get parental involvement where it is sorely needed. This will hold accountable those who have ultimate responsibility of these kids.

b. “bring back HB2819 and HB2701 as striker amendments”. The state needs a law that makes it a crime to carry graffiti implements when there is no good reason to do so. Think about it, who carries that kind of stuff around; professionals and workers who have a valid use for it, or kids and criminals who are up to no good. There is also a statewide need to make graffiti implements inaccessible to would-be graffiti criminals. We need to cut off these criminals at the source and we need our public safety officers to have more authority to take action against these criminals.

Tell them you are tired of gangs, graffiti artists, and taggers who deface your property, your schools, your buildings, and your highways. Tell them that you want statewide legislation written about this serious problem NOW!

On a personal note, I have recently purchased and installed BiLock deadbolts for my own home, and I can attest to the fact that they are a much higher grade of lock than comes standard from Centex. b. Notice of Elections - Next month in April the Trailside Point Block Watch will be holding new elections for key positions in the organization. The purpose of this Notice of Election is to solicit candidates for the election. This is an excellent opportunity for you to become more involved in the direction of our community and specifically its safety and security. Listed below are the positions with brief descriptions for each. All positions will be part of the Block Watch Board of Directors; which, after being elected will lead the Block Watch. The term is for one year. You must be 18 years of age and live in Trailside Point to be elected.

i. Manager: Chief administrative officer of the Block Watch who, among other duties, will be responsible to schedule and run all meetings, prepare an agenda for meetings with the assistance of the Secretary, act as Block Watch liaison with the HOA and other groups and organizations in the community.

ii. Secretary: Primary responsibility is to record, publish and maintain all records of Block Watch meetings.

iii. Treasurer: Primary responsibility is to keep account of Block Watch funds and provide oversight in the development of any grant funds for the Block Watch.

iv. Phoenix Neighborhood Patrol Rep (PNP): This unique position requires certain qualifications be met as required by the City of Phoenix Police Department (this is the only position with any specific job requirements).

v. At Large Board Members: Sit on the Board of Directors and participate in policy and administrative decision making.

We will go over the positions, the election process, and answer any questions at our meeting this Tuesday. If you are interested in nominating yourself for a position, please respond to this e-mail and provide your name, address, telephone number, and position of interest. Nominations will remain open until March 25 at 5 PM. As part of announcing your candidacy you may provide a 200 word statement about your qualifications, goals, thoughts and so forth about yourself for voters to read. 2. Recent Crime reports –

a. Saturday, from Mesquite Manor 1 - Two black females in their teens attempted to either damage or break down the front door. They ran off into Bridle Crossing 1. Police arrived within 10 minutes and took a report. The home owner had no idea of the kids’ reasons or intentions. The home owner also mentioned they were going to buy a security screen door.

Can an average guy really fight city hall and win?

Randy Jones seems like a fairly regular guy. He's an auditor, a pro with numbers, and yet here he is, mounting a campaign against a city that statistically speaking…

… Well, let's just say that not too many regular guys fight city hall and win. Still, he marches on.

Says Jones: “We want to send a message to the Phoenix City Council that hey, you know what, you need to listen to your citizens.”

That should get a good guffaw over in the power corridor at city hall. These are the people who last month approved a 20-fold increase in density in Jones' neighborhood, a move that'll add hundreds of new residents to an area where the streets are already parking lots and the schools are already overflowing.

This, at the request of the ultimate insider -- a former mayor turned developer.

Jones lives in Laveen, an area that not so long ago had more goats than people. This rural outpost on Phoenix's southwest side began to change a few years ago as developers discovered the area and suburbanites moved in, drawn by quick commutes and a rural feel. Jones and his wife, Jen, moved in three years ago, sure of what they were buying given the city's own plan for low- and medium-density housing in the area.

That, however, was then and this is now. Now, when former Mayor Paul Johnson has set his sights on 27th Avenue and Baseline, where the city's plan calls for one house an acre. His request: let me build 20 times that.

Neighbors were horrified at the prospect of jamming 517 apartments and townhouses where 27 houses are supposed to be. The local citizens group called it “an incredible departure from the General Plan and thoroughly inconsistent with the surrounding approved and established uses.”

So naturally the Planning Commission approved it. Unanimously. And the City Council voted for it, 7-1. Only Councilman Claude Mattox dissented. Mayor Phil Gordon abstained, citing a conflict. I'm guessing that's because the developer is his best friend and chairman of his finance committee – not to mention the man he tapped to chair the 2006 bond campaign to raise funds to build ASU's downtown campus.

Johnson said his entree at city hall is actually a handicap, not a help. “You're a past mayor and everyone is nervous about it,” he said. “What sold the project was the product.”

It's one of a number of high-density developments Johnson is building on the city's west side. The idea, he said, is to put in affordable housing so that “community champions” -- teachers, police, etc. – can afford to live in Phoenix, easing commutes and combating sprawl. The development, he said, will be a vast improvement over the shacks and trailers that now dot the site.

That may be so, but is it a vast improvement over what all the city's plans and studies have said this area is supposed to be?

Jones says no. He and his neighbors have launched a referendum aimed at killing Johnson's project. They have 30 days – until Feb. 8 -- to file nearly 10,000 signatures of Phoenix voters in hopes of putting the project to a public vote. (For information: 602-445-6332.)

If successful, he'll be that rare fellow who fought city hall -- and won. The only time I recall that happening was in 2005, when Donald Trump tried to plop 140-foot condos at 26th Street and Camelback, right where a 56-foot building is supposed to be. In that case, citizens tripped over themselves to stop it and the City Council, properly rebuked, did a U-turn.

Now Jones is hoping for a repeat performance and other neighborhood groups are coming to his aid. Among them is longtime Arcadia activist Paul Barnes, all rested up from his fight last year to stop to a developer from shoving a trio of high rises right up the nose of Camelback Mountain.

“It's something all of us are going to face,” Barnes said. “They're taking us down, neighborhood by neighborhood. It needs to be stopped.”

Here is some information from Carol of the Country Glen Block Watch regarding some upcoming community events:

December 12 - Planning Commission Meeting, 6 PM FOR THE 27th Ave and BASELINE PROJECT, 200 W. Jefferson St., City Council Chambers.

January 14 - Laveen BLOCK WATCH Association Meeting, Cesar Chavez Branch, Phoenix Public Library, 6:30 PM. This will be a joint meeting with the Laveen HOAs Association, similar to the first Laveen HOAs Association, but we will be a separate group. Next Block Watch Meeting: Tuesday, Dec 11th

Sorry for the short notice, but the next Block Watch meeting will be this Tuesday (Dec 11th) at 7:00 PM at the Rapacz's home. (For specific location information, email trailsidepointblockwatch@yahoo.com )

Due to the limited size of the venue, this meeting is mainly intended for the Block Watch leadership, Block Captains, and any other residents that want to actively participate in the Block Watch. Please bring a folding chair if you decide to join us, as seating will be limited.

Trailside Point Block Watch Training

The Trailside Point Block Watch is having an official training session on

October 25, 7pm

at the Trailside Point Park Basketball Courts

(Bring a chair since unfortunately there will not be any seating provided)

The South Mountain Precinct’s Community Action Officer, Mario Ancich, and the Community Programs Officer, Melissa Rider will be training ALL RESIDENTS of Trailside Point on:

Block Watch; what it is and is not
How to get involved
Why it is important
Benefits of having a block watch
How neighbors can look out for each other
Crime stop number and 911 information
Things to do to detour crime from your neighborhood
How to work with city resources

We hope to get MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE for this event. Even if you can’t actively participate in a defined Block Watch role you still need to attend this training. Please join your fellow neighbors in collectively saying “NO” to those who would commit crimes against you by coming to this event and finding out how you can help deter crime.

G.A.I.N. Event Planning Meeting - Oct 3rd

G.A.I.N. - Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods

The G.A.I.N. Event Planning Meeting has been rescheduled to October 3rd at the Cesar Chavez High School. Any volunteers who wish to help in the preparation for the G.A.I.N. Event (to be held Oct 20th at Trailside Park) are highly encouraged to attend.

G.A.I.N. What Is It?
G.A.I.N. stands for Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods. G.A.I.N. is Arizona's answer to National Night Out, which is held in August. Because of the soaring 105+ temperatures in August, communities statewide decided to observe National Night Out in October and call it G.A.I.N.

Purpose of G.A.I.N.
G.A.I.N. is a day of celebration for the successes of crime prevention through community involvement. Block Watches citywide participate in block parties to show support for the efforts of those involved in the fight against crime.
Success of G.A.I.N. depends on you.

G.A.I.N. is also a day for the police to show their appreciation for those in the community that support our efforts in the day to day fight against crime. G.A.I.N. is scheduled for the third Saturday of October. It's not too early to start thinking of ways we can help make G.A.I.N. successful event

Shots Fired at Trailside Park

On Monday, Sept 17th around 10:00PM, there were reports of multiple gun shots being fired at the basketball courts. The suspects fled without being caught. There have been no follow-up reports of anyone being hit by the gun fire.

Some community members are saying that the basketball courts at Trailside Park are attracting an unwanted element to the area. While the basketball courts provide benefit to some of the residents of Trailside Point, the fact remains that most of the people using them are coming from outside our neighborhood. In light of these recent events, a poll has been created seeking your opinion regarding the suggested removal of the basketball courts. Please be sure to cast your vote.

Mass Email Issues

City Council Election Debate - Friday (8/10), 7 PM, Trailside Elementary

The Block Watch will be hosting a City Council District 7 candidate debate this Friday at 7pm at Trailside Elementary. Obviously, the debate will be focused on public safety. If you would like, reply to trailsidepointblockwatch@hotmail.com with a question that you would like the candidates to answer. Several questions have already been developed, but your additional input is valuable. No guarantee that yours will be asked, but it's good to have the candidates hear residents' real concerns.

Laveen Village Planning and Zoning Meeting

From Carol of the Country Glen Block Watch (43rd Ave / Baseline):

In an effort to gain city attention that Laveen Village has a serious and alarmingly high crime rate, please attend the Laveen Village Planning and Zoning meeting on August 13 at 6 PM, Cesar Chavez Branch Library Meeting Room. It will be at this meeting that the City of Phoenix Police Department will tentatively be present.

At the meeting, it is important to sign the register and to submit a green card. I am new to this process, but I think it gets our attendance officially documented with the city as well as our comments. I would suggest if you are a block watch or HOA leader, write the name of your
community and the number of homes you represent.

City of Phoenix Community Meeting on Graffiti

During the Block Watch meeting last Thursday, it was mentioned that the City of Phoenix will be holding a Community Meeting regarding graffiti in the Laveen area. Unfortunately, I was not able to get all of the details regarding this meeting, but this is what I was able to make note of:

When: June 18th at 10:00 AM
Where: Laveen Conveyance Channel (Just southwest of 75th Ave and Baseline Rd. ???)

Reason for these meetings

A preliminary group of interested residents for the Trailside Point Block Watch (TPBW) borne out of the March 29 meeting gathered on April 26 and May 23 to further organize our community’s block watch efforts.

These productive meetings consisted of discussions about the numerous issues currently affecting the quality of life in our community, including graffiti, vandalism and theft. Included in these discussions was a strategy for establishing a clear framework of its function and objectives. This will equip TPBW to maximize its efficiency in dealing with those quality-of-life neighborhood issues.

First, the preliminary group agreed that TPBW should have officers to govern its activities – a (1) president, (2) vice-president, (3) secretary, and (4) treasurer.

Second, since the success of any neighborhood group lies both with the quality and the quantity of its volunteers, four committees will be formed to handle the many diverse duties involved:
• Activities– this committee would be responsible for organizing community activities such as picnics, fundraisers and neighborhood cleanups
• Phoenix Neighborhood Patrol and Graffiti Busters – these members will work closely with the Phoenix Police Department to patrol our community and report any suspicious activity and help clean up graffiti.
• HOA Liaison – this committee would be TPBW’s link to City Property Management, working with our property manager regarding community issues and concerns such as blighted and unkempt properties
• Communication/Information – this committee is in charge of maintaining the TPBW official Website at trailsideblockwatch.org and for the development of and organizing distribution of any communications (flyer's, etc.).

And third, the group recommended that there be Block Representatives who will oversee the block watch efforts on a smaller scale within each individual neighborhood. The Block Representatives will be critical to the overall success of the TPBW as they will be the eyes and ears of their particular street in the community. Since Trailside Point is a large community, many Block Representatives will be needed.

Content of Meetings

The meeting on June 6 is centered on gathering as many potential volunteers as possible, discussing the various volunteer needs, and making a rough outline in terms of the overall organization of the Block Watch. Up to now the block watch efforts have been performed by a preliminary group of residents who initially stepped up to volunteer. The preliminary group is just that though, preliminary, so no official titles exist. Although these group members intend to continue their volunteer efforts, they can’t do it alone. The preliminary group will transition away from organizing the block watch efforts as potential volunteers like you step up to (1) Lead TPBW as an elected official, (2) be on the Committees and (3) be Block Representatives. The need is great and so far few have volunteered! So, please come to the meeting on June 6 prepared to discuss what volunteer position you might be interested in.

The meeting on June 14 will be to roll out the organizational plan that will have been crafted, and introduce the volunteers who will have been identified during the meeting the week before (June 6), and to elect the four officers. We will also discuss important issues regarding community safety; the main reason for the Block Watch’s existence.

Community Social - May 8 - All Laveen Residents Invited!

Tuesday, May 8, 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Laveen Elementary School, 51 Ave. & Dobbins, Building A Auditorium and surrounding area.

The Laveen Community Council is sponsoring a 'Community Social' with all Laveen residents invited. Come out and meet your neighbors and find out how to get more involved in Laveen activities. There will be food, drinks, music, games, kids activities and lots of information. Community Volunteers will be recognized.

There will be some awesome raffle prizes such as Arizona Diamondback tickets donated by the City of Phoenix Mayor's office and a Phoenix Suns basketball autographed by Raja Bell plus lots more. Tables and chairs will be set-up for you under the stars with entertainment by local serenading musicians.

Trailside Point HOA Town Hall Meeting Announced

The Trailside Point HOA will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at:

According to the HOA notification... "The purpose of this meeting will be to come together with fellow members and management representatives to discuss any concerns or wishes you may have regarding your community."

Message Boards now in Beta Testing

I think the message boards are ready to be "beta tested". Please feel free to post whatever you want. All of the forums are open to posting by any registered user, except for the Block Watch Announcements forum. (In that forum, only moderators may initiate posts, but any registered user may reply to posts.)

Keep in mind that since these message boards are in the testing phase things may change at any time. If there are any major mishaps or changes, posts may be deleted. If you come across any bugs or errors, please let me know.
