Trailside Point Block Watch Training

The Trailside Point Block Watch is having an official training session on

October 25, 7pm

at the Trailside Point Park Basketball Courts
(Bring a chair since unfortunately there will not be any seating provided)

The South Mountain Precinct’s Community Action Officer, Mario Ancich, and the Community Programs Officer, Melissa Rider will be training ALL RESIDENTS of Trailside Point on:

  • Block Watch; what it is and is not
  • How to get involved
  • Why it is important
  • Benefits of having a block watch
  • How neighbors can look out for each other
  • Crime stop number and 911 information
  • Things to do to detour crime from your neighborhood
  • How to work with city resources

We hope to get MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE for this event. Even if you can’t actively participate in a defined Block Watch role you still need to attend this training. Please join your fellow neighbors in collectively saying “NO” to those who would commit crimes against you by coming to this event and finding out how you can help deter crime.

If you cannot make this meeting there will be a make up training on November 1, 7pm also at the park.
