Brief Updates from Tonight's Block Watch Meeting

A full listing of the minutes from this evening's block watch meeting is forthcoming; however, there were a few items announced that deserve some advance notice:

1) This Saturday (May 17th), there will be a Phoenix Neighborhood Patrol training session for anyone that is interested in becoming PNP certified. It is scheduled to go from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #2 (12851 N 19th Ave). See the following link for more information.

2) On Friday, May 30th at 7:30 PM, the Bridge Community Church will be hosting a "Movie in the Park" night at the Trailside Point Park. They will be showing Shrek 3, and rumor has it that refreshments may be available. More details should be available on their website soon.

3) There has been a reported increase of trash accumulation in the park due to over-filling garbage cans. For any and all park-related issues, please contact the City Parks and Recreation department at 602-262-6111. (However, they should not be called for Tot-Lot issues, as those are HOA owned and controlled.)
